Our family needed a summer tutor for our daughter. We found, interviewed Karen and committed our daughter to her recommended two sessions weekly. Karen connected right away with our daughter. Karen knew the importance of building her confidence, retaining the skills that she already possessed and slowly building on them. Never once did our daughter complain to go to tutoring or try and "excuse" herself out of it! Karen made reading fun! School started recently and our STAR Reading Assessment came back and our scores did not drop! Summer tutoring was a success!!! Karen is organized, efficient, caring, sincere and honest. We called on Karen to assist with our 16 year old high school son in the spring. She has many attributes that make her a fantastic tutor. She seemed to zero on what exactly he needed to help with time management and organization. He was overwhelmed with his workload, and Karen helped him sort it all out. She was patient, knowledgeable and really was sensitive to the manner in which he works. She didn't just set up a system rather she worked with my son to customize a plan for him. He was able to finish out the year with almost a letter grade improvement in his subjects. Karen worked with my daughter from March  to August. She helped my daughter with math and reading...encouraging her and teaching her with patience and kindness that was very sincere. My daughter’s confidence is so much better, and as we prepare to enter the 3rd grade we are both excited to see what the new school year will bring!
